May 7, 2008, "Lucky cloud" arrived in Guangzhou, which started the second province of torch relay in China mainland. The itinerary lasted for 40.82 kilometers, covering more than 10 sceneries total. There were about 208 torchbearers and also tens of thousands of people waiting along the route. This brilliant scene and crowded situation made local police a problem to preserve the security guarding and order maintenance work. For ensuring the safety of torch relay, torchbearers and all the audience, Guangzhou Police got all fields of police officers working together to enhance the security guarding.
In the meanwhile, security department used two secure methods to detect and monitor the live scene. The satellite system had been used to send live-signals to Security Department of Guangdong Province; and HYT mobile visual transmitting system were used to dispatch the short-distant live-signals to Guangzhou Security Bureau continuously and clearly, and then Guangzhou transmitted it to Security Bureau of Guangdong Province. By using these two systems in the same time, Security department had detected and controlled of relay scene in time. Even when the satellite cannot accomplish the mission because of high-buildings fence, VS-5700 can provide the short-distance signal transmitting clearly and continuously. The representation of VS-5700 was highly appreciated by the officers in Guangzhou Police Bureau and also impressed more than 200 officers of security systems all over China who were in the congress for "Providing better security guarding and order maintenance work". Some of them even wanted to know contact information of manufacturer right at the meeting.
It is reported that VS-5700 is a mobile visual transmitting system researched and developed by HYT. The system adapting the latest and most potential researching technologies, has many main features like, low radiation, high acceptance ability, wide coverage, anti-jamming, none-mosaic, etc. It can provide mobile visual communications service to Security Public, Fire protection, Traffic control, Air defense, City management, Electrical system repair, Railway system repair, Marina control, Forest, Ministry, TV transmission and so on. This is the first time VS-5700 being used in big event. Up till now, the system has been adapted by Guangzhou, Longyan, Taizhou, Changsha, and other public security systems. VS-5700 has provided a high-effective information transmitting and security control of torch relay. It also provided a fast detecting and responding of outburst issues which upgraded the security guarding and order maintenance work efficiency of local police.
